The Boulder City Municipal Airport offers flight services for both private and commercial airplanes. It is a general aviation facility serving the air transportation needs of the citizens of Boulder City and the surrounding communities.

The Nevada Department of Transportation Office of Airport Planning has recently released Nevada General Aviation Airport Economic Impact Study for the Boulder City Municipal Airport. It is available as a Adobe Acrobat PDF file here.

The Airport Advisory Committee meetings are held once a month, on the first Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. To access the current meeting agenda, please click here.

The Boulder City Municipal Airport is used by pilots and passengers for personal, business and recreational flying activities and also offers other aeronautical services such as charter and air taxi flights, flight training, parachuting, emergency medical evacuation and transport. The Airport offers the community aviation and economic benefits and is a symbol of pride for the City of Boulder City and its citizens.

Special Remarks:
• Straight-in approaches are utilized frequently on Runways 27L and 33.
• Avoid overflight of Boulder City residential areas.
• Runway 33 has a steep gradient with rising terrain and obstacles.
• Up to 5' drainage areas around several runways and taxiways.
• High-power lines in all quadrants.
• Skydiving operations are held in the northeast quadrant.
• Annual operating permits for commercial operators are $500 per year.
