The maximum weight per item to be picked up is 75 lbs. Remember a 75 lb. bag will break, so if you are having a hard time getting it to the curb then Boulder Disposal will have a hard time as well. A trash can should be used for heavier loads. All bundles must be in 4 foot increments and tied - this includes branches, carpet etc.
Boulder Disposal rents 96 gallon toters for $3.15 a month and their trucks have a power lift to lift this. There is a maximum weight of 200 lbs. If the toter is too heavy, Boulder City's equipment cannot lift this. It is not recommended that you buy another 96 gallon container because of the height of the power lifter on the truck. If the container doesn't fit, then the power lifter cannot lift the container. If this is the case, then Boulder Disposal will never be able to lift this because 96 gallon toters can be very heavy and over the 75 lb weight.
