The rates above apply to all alternating current, 60 hertz, single phase or three phase electric service with a demand of less than 300 kilowatts.  For larger commercial service rates, please call the Utility Office at 293-9244.

First 60,000 gallons per month  $1.40 per 1,000 gallons
60,001 to 550,000 gallons per month  $1.76 per 1,000 gallons

Raw Water Rates
First 60,000 gallons per month  $1.16 per 1,000 gallons
60,001 to 550,000 gallons per month  $1.52 per 1,000 gallons
550,001 and over  $1.78 per 1,000 gallons

Commercial Sewer Rates

  • Commercial Sewer Rates are 65% of water consumption, with a minimum of $9.65 per month.
  • Maximum charge shall not exceed 65% of the average water use charge during the months of December, January and February and is set annually.
  • Special contract rates may be negotiated with the City for sewer rental service to commercial enterprises, which dispost of substantial quantities of water and are non-contributory to the sewage load.
  • The City requires a deposit in an amount sufficient to cover the estimated billings for a two-month period for all new commercial accounts.
  • Deposits on commercial accounts shall be refunded after two years of good payment history.
  • The deposit is waived for applicants who have had service within the last five years in Boulder City with unimpaired credit, as determined by the City.
