The Evaporative Cooler Rebate Program is available to all Boulder City residential electric customers with existing refrigerated air conditioners. The following eligibility requirements apply:
To be eligible for a rebate, the unit must be a supplement to an existing refrigerated air conditioner (serving living space).
A completed rebate application form must be submitted within 60 days of the installation date.
A dated contractor invoice, dealer invoice, or proof of purchase will be required as proof of installation date.
The rebate is based on $50 per 1,000 CFM.
Residential purchasers of qualifying evaporative coolers may be subject to an on-site inspection by a Boulder City representative to verify installation and product information.
The rebate only applies to new evaporative cooler install and not an existing install.
Residence must have a minimum of one and one half tons of existing refrigerated air conditioning.
