Resident Business Licenses require the following minimum requirements and generally take 2 weeks to process:
Completed Boulder City application.
You must be able to hang your license at a commercially zoned Boulder City address
Copy of rent/lease receipt from owner of building verifying office space.
Zoning, building, fire and police inspections are required.
A Clark County health permit is required if food sales are involved.
Proof of registration with the Department of Taxation.
Proof of Workers' Compensation Form D-25 Affirmation of Compliance which can be obtained from the IIRS website www.dirweb.state.nv.us/iirs.htm under Workers' Compensation forms.
Contractors must provide a copy of their Nevada State Contractor's License.
Fees are based on a "point system" considering the type of business, hours of operation, number of employees and frontage, with a minimum of $40.00 semi-annually. Semi-annual and annual licenses are available.

Non-Resident Business Licenses require the following minimum requirements and can generally be issued at the time of application. (Actual business location is not Boulder City.)
Completed Boulder City application.
Contractors must provide a copy of their Nevada State Contractor's License and a copy of the business license from the city they are located in and a list of corporate officers, if applicable.
Retail, wholesale or service business requires a copy of their permit from the Department of Taxation.
Fees range from $65.00 to $115.00 semi-annually.
