The Mayor's seat and two City Council seats are up for election in 2019. These offices are non-partisan in nature, and all members of the City Council serve at-large. The terms will be shortened as the City transitions its election cycle to even-numbered years. The terms are three years and five months, June 2019 to November 2022.
Must be a Boulder City resident for two years prior to election
Hold no other elective public office
Must be a qualified elector
Cannot be an employee of the City
Candidate filing shall be begin on Tuesday, January 22 during normal business hours at the Office of the City Clerk. Filing closes on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 5 p.m.
Candidates must provide a $25 filing fee payable by cash, check, or credit card, and a valid driver's license or identification card issued by a governmental agency that contains a photograph and the candidate's address; or a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or document issued by a governmental entity.
