The purpose of the Municipal Pool Ad Hoc Committee is to review alternatives regarding the repair or replacement of the municipal pool, and advise the City Council of possible alternatives. The City Council shall appoint up to seven members to the Committee. The Committee will include the Mayor as Chair of the Committee and the Mayor pro tem as the Vice-Chair. Committee members shall be residents of Boulder City and should have experience in competitive swimming events or recreational swimming events, finance and/or construction.
The Committee’s duties will conclude and the Committee will be dissolved after the 2020 November General Election unless extended beyond December 31, 2020 by a majority vote of the City Council. The Municipal Pool Ad Hoc Committee will hold regular meetings at least once per month. The meetings will be open to the public and shall comply with the State of Nevada Open Meeting Law.
The Committee is charged with submission of recommendations to City Council no later than May 31, 2020.
