Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson and Boulder City Mayor Kiernan McManus will host a Coffee and Conversation with Boulder City residents at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.  The meeting will be held at the World Famous Coffee Cup Café, 512 Nevada Hwy. in Boulder City’s historic downtown district.

“Boulder City is a fascinating and charming place that many of my constituents call home,” said Commissioner Gibson.  “It has a captivating history and a thriving tourist industry that continues to bring people from all over Southern Nevada to participate in their year-round community events, and numerous exciting outdoor activities.   I am excited to meet with residents and find out more about how Mayor McManus and I can better serve their needs.”

“Boulder City residents are very politically active and we appreciate that Commissioner Gibson takes time to hear the voices of our residents,” said Boulder City Mayor Kiernan McManus. “We are always glad to host our local, State and Federal leaders, and show them what a warm and welcoming community we are.”

All Boulder City residents are invited to attend.  Attendees will be asked to sign-in as they enter the Coffee Cup Café, and wait their turn to have a one-on-two time with both Commissioner Gibson and Mayor McManus.  Coffee and pastries will be provided for all participants.

The World Famous Coffee Cup Café is hosting this event.  The Coffee Cup welcomes visitors from all over the world.  Many of these visitors bring coffee cups from their part of the world, and these cups are displayed at “The Cup”.  Most recently, the Coffee Cup Café was featured on an episode of the Food Network’s popular “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” TV show.

Residents are encouraged to contact Commissioner Gibson’s office at (702) 455-8531 if they have any questions about the upcoming meeting. District G residents also can sign up to receive a free email newsletter via the County’s website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov.    ###
