BOULDER CITY - The 2019-20 Bikepath Rehabilitation Program (slurry seal) is gearing up to start on Monday August 3, 2020. The map shows the bikepaths included in the project. The work includes grinding down and or removing and replacing identified potential tripping hazards, crack sealing and slurry sealing the asphalt bikepaths shown on the map.
The contractor, American Pavement Preservation, anticipates the work will take 5 – 6 weeks to complete. Signage will be installed notifying the public of when the work on each section of the bikepaths will take place. The public is requested to pay attention to the signs and not walk, run or ride on the wet slurry seal as it will stick to shoes and tires and leave tracks in the finished surface.
This is a Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) funded project.
