What is pickleball?

Pickleball is a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It’s played with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball on a court that’s about the size of a badminton court. The game can be played in singles or doubles, making it perfect for people of all ages and skill levels.   Whether you’re playing with your kids, grandparents, siblings, or friends pickleball provides a fun and inclusive activity that brings generations together.

Pickleball Courts Phase 2:

The addition of lights for the Veterans Memorial Park pickleball courts is part of Phase 2 of the project. Staff is currently obtaining quotes from contractors for installing lights. While there is no estimated completion date at this time, the addition of lighting will provide residents with extended access to enjoy the new courts. Please continue to check the website for project updates.

*Court times/availability subject to change with special events, facility rentals, or recreational class use.  All pickleball courts are multi-functional courts.

Court Reservations:

Pickleball courts can be reserved for private use for a fee.  To reserve the court, please click on the link below to create your account and to reserve the facility.  If you have any questions, please contact Parks and Recreation at 702-293-9256.  Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am to 6pm.
